Friends, I have been on a hiatus of sorts the last few weeks. As we approach the date for the renewal of the Word On Fire subscription we have to make a decision about whether or not to continue the subscription. I have enjoyed bringing you Bishop Barron’s homilies and reflections (among other Catholic teachers) for the last few years. My original intent was to bring uplifting, orthodox Catholic teaching to parishioners outside of the normal avenues of Mass and faith formation gatherings. Another intent was for us to be able to discuss these rich videos/topics in the chat section of this format as well as giving the laity an opportunity to access quality Catholic instruction from the Word On Fire website. These, it seems, were not utilized as I had hoped. With that being said, I believe...
